My soul sucking job
Oct. 17th, 2014 08:35 amFirst, I'd like to apologize for how infrequent my updates are. It's absolutely the fault of my job since in the morning I really want to just relax and at night when I'm finally off work, I'm drained. I lack the energy to type things up from my notebook and edit them so I can post. Then on the weekend I just want to relax too or I'm going somewhere so I can get out of this town and go do something fun.
It's quite a problem. I do have Chapter 5 of "When Nightmares Become Reality" typed and just need to finish editing so fingers crossed I can get that posted today. Chapter 6 just needs to be typed and edited so I'm going to try very hard to get that done this week and get this story finished
I won't have much writing time this weekend since I'm spending part of Sunday in Tokyo then taking the night bus into Sendai to see Mejibray and Born on Monday. Then night bus back to Tokyo, train back to Kasukabe, where I'll be off to work in a few hours so Tuesday I'm going to be braindead.
If anyone is thinking of going to Japan and teaching for Eikawa schools (English Conversation), don't. It isn't worth it. You're overworked, underpaid, and have to deal with a lot of double standards, bitchiness, and general refusals to help you. The training I received is a joke too. It was absolutely worthless.
