burned out

write_my_dreamsThe only time I'm able to write is in my notebook or continuing something I started on my phone's writing app. I have no desire to even start something when I'm at my Mac which is where I usually write. These moods don't always hit me but I've been getting them a lot lately. It's more than writer's block. It's a burn out. I've written too many stories with similar elements for too long. Boy oriented and set in Japan. I've done it too much and I need a break. I need something different.
So I probably won't be posting anything any time soon. I might be able to type up and finish Chapter 3 of Life or Death before I leave for Austria. Not sure though. I have a good 2/3 of it done in my notebook or on my phone, it's just a matter of fixing it up. And I have my two-part Hide-Zou x Tsune series complete aside from editing too. So I might be able to get those edited and posted sometime this month, but I don't think I'll be able to write anything new.
I'll be taking a fanfic break to work on original work with new ideas. Stuff I don't usually write. Hope it'll help.
