Summary: Asagi and Ruiza insist that Hide-Zou come to a Halloween party with them. The party is too dull for Hide-Zou's liking and he's considering leaving when a beautiful redhead joins him at the bar. Tsunehito's arrival starts their 48 hours together.
Author's Comment: I needed a break from editing my novel so decided to finish up this little series. Finishing Chapter 2 was much simpler since it was a lot shorter. I kind of feel bad that their story is so short but I think the open ending fits.
Hide-Zou started when Tsunehito stumbled against him. The rocking of the train had been luring both of them into sleep. Quickly he steadied Tsunehito and gave him a worn smile. The model looked so cute right now. Blinking sleepily and rubbing his eyes—then cursing as his eye makeup smeared onto his hands.
“I’m tired,” Tsunehito muttered. He moved closer to slide his arms around Hide-Zou, leaning his face against his chest.
The brunette stroked Tsunehito’s hair. “Me too.” His hand moved from dark locks to Tsunehito’s bare waist. The model had looked gorgeous in his pirate outfit and then he’d worn this costume for tonight’s party. It was even skimpier than the pirate costume. Tiny black shorts, a black and white tank top that showed off his stomach, long arm warmers, and other elaborate pieces. Hide-Zou had no idea what Tsunehito’s costume was supposed to be. Even the model didn’t know. He’d just glanced down, shrugged his mostly bare shoulders, then linked arms with Hide-Zou.
“Let’s see if this party is any better than last night’s.”
“I hope you have a comfortable bed,” Tsunehito mumbled, pulling Hide-Zou out of his thoughts.
The brunette laughed. “I do. It won’t be too much longer until we can sleep.” Home was near their next stop. His apartment was a short walk from the train station so they should be inside in less than ten minutes.
Tsunehito toyed with Hide-Zou’s wig. “Too bad we couldn't get a damn taxi."
Hide-Zou sighed. All the other drunks had beaten them to the taxis so they'd ended up taking the train back to avoid the hassle. "Yeah. We're almost there though." He stroked Tsunehito's soft hair again.
"Mm..."'

Hide-Zou had wondered if he would have to carry Tsunehito, but he seemed to find his energy again once they got off the train. The fact that he almost face planted on the platform had helped wake him up.
They'd just reached the elevator when Tsunehito 's phone rang. Hide-Zou pulled it out of his pocket and gave it to him. "Anyone important?" He hadn’t bothered looking at the contact name. He wouldn't know anyone anyway and it was Tsunehito 's phone, not his.
Tsunehito took the phone. "My manager. You go up; I'll be right there."
Hide-Zou frowned. "You sure?"
Tsunehito nodded then answered the phone, walking back outside. Hide-Zou watched him then decided he should change and get out some clothes for Tsunehito. He made his way up to his apartment then froze as he saw Asagi and a half-asleep Ruiza standing outside his door. Asagi was knocking while Ruiza was slumped against the wall, looking like he should still be in bed. Understandable at 07:00. What were they doing here?
"Asagi?"
The black-haired man whirled around, blinking as he saw Hide-Zou. "You're still in your costume."
"Two day walk of shame outfit?" Ruiza asked, smirk ruined as he yawned widely and slumped against Asagi, who stumbled to catch him.
"Haha, funny." Hide-Zou rolled his eyes. "I almost didn't recognize you two." At Asagi's confused look he smirked and continued.
"You're both wearing clothes." They had looked so whorish last time.
Asagi glowered at him. "Where have you been? The last time you answered your phone was in the park and then you stopped talking... I got worried since you weren't responding to my texts or calls."
Hide-Zou smiled a little. Typical Asagi. He was always worrying. "I met someone at the party and we've been together since then. My phone died and I never got around to charging it. Sorry to worry you."
"That explains the two day walk of shame outfit," Ruiza said, laughing again as he snuggled closer to his lover.
"Walk of shame?" Tsunehito asked, looking amused as the elevator doors closed. Asagi jumped, displacing his lover who squeaked and clung to him to keep from toppling over. Tsunehito chuckled softly then moved over to Hide-Zou, slipping his smaller hand into his.
Asagi steadied Ruiza, glancing from Hide-Zou to Tsunehito. “Good morning. I’m Asagi and this is my lover, Ruiza. We’re Hide-Zou’s friends.”
Ruiza pulled away from Asagi so he could greet Tsunehito. Then turned to smirk at Hide-Zou. “See? It’s a good thing you went to the party. If you hadn’t you would have had a date with your PS3.”
"Hey!" Hide-Zou complained as Tsunehito snickered. "I'm not that much of a nerd." Okay sometimes. Depending on the game. But Tsunehito didn't need to know that. If Ruiza would have just kept his mouth shut...
"Are you? I seem to recall you not leaving your apartment for three days after your favorite game came out,” Asagi reminded in a dry tone.
Hide-Zou grumbled as he squeezed Tsunehito’s hand. “You’re embarrassing me in front of my date. You’re just like my mom, Asagi.” The other man hated to be called motherly. Even though he was. He even owned aprons for when he was cooking or baking.
“I’m not motherly!” Asagi protested.
Ruiza smiled and shook his head.
Asagi pouted when his lover didn’t deny Hide-Zou’s claim. The brunette was distracted when Tsunehito covered his mouth to yawn. The sight of his friends had briefly made him forget how tired he was. Now that he’d seen Tsunehito yawn, the exhaustion came back. They really needed to get some sleep.
“Maybe you two should go home and go back to bed,” Hide-Zou suggested. "Rui-chan looks like he's going to call over."
Asagi nodded. “You’re right. You two look like you need sleep as well. Were you out all night?"
“We were. We went to a Halloween party at Tsunehito’s friend’s club. It was much better than the party you made me go to,” he said, grinning as Asagi rolled his eyes. “We stayed at the party for a while then couldn’t get a taxi so decided to sing karaoke until the trains started running.” The night had been fun but busy.
"Go sleep then. It was nice to meet you," Asagi said to Tsune.
Tsunehito gave him a tired smile. "You too."
Asagi and Ruiza said goodbye then headed down the hallway. Hide-Zou unlocked the door, pushing it open and bowing dramatically to an amused Tsunehito. "After you."
The model chuckled then stepped inside. Hide-Zou’s apartment wasn’t as big as Tsunehito’s was. It was a two bedroom apartment with the second room doubling as an office/guest room. Hide-Zou was grateful that he’d cleaned yesterday. The apartment had been a mess.
“I assume you want to borrow some clothes?” Hide-Zou asked, pulling the door shut and locking it.
“Please.” Tsunehito rubbed his tired eyes. “Where’s your bathroom?”
“Down the hallway. There’s a package of toothbrushes in the cabinet. And a box of makeup removing cloths. Help yourself to whatever you like.”
Tsunehito nodded then headed down the hall. Hide-Zou watched him go before turning to his bedroom. Comfy clothes… he was ready for those.
After changing, removing their makeup, and brushing their teeth, they curled up together in Hide-Zou’s bed. It was a little cramped for two in comparison to Tsunehito’s big bed. Tsunehito handled the smaller space by snuggling closer to Hide-Zou.
“Good night,” he said. “Or good morning.” He snickered and laid his head on the pillow above Hide-Zou’s shoulder. “I’m not sure what to say anymore.”
“Hm… the sun’s up so I think ‘good morning’ is right,” Hide-Zou chuckled. He slowly combed his fingers through Tsunehito’s dark curls then looked at him. The model’s eyes were closed and he looked peaceful. He wasn’t asleep yet though. His breathing had yet to settle into the relaxed rhythm that Hide-Zou remembered from last night. Was it creepy that he remembered how Tsunehito breathed when he was asleep? Probably.
More important: what were they now? A two night stand without the sex? A couple? Friends with eventual benefits? Hide-Zou didn’t know. He was too tired to think of something so deep though. They could discuss it when they woke up.
If Tsunehito was still next to him.

Date: 2014-01-13 05:46 am (UTC)Hide-Zou and Tsune are so cute together and very sweet. I like the softness between them and how they aren't interested in rushing things, just enjoying being with each other.
Poor Zou. Ruiza and Asagi just had to embarass him somehow. Maybe he and Ruiza were surprised to see Hide-Zou with someone as beautiful as Tsunehito. But at least Zou got his own little jab in.
I can see these two having a long lasting relationship together.
