Summary: Hizaki wakes up in Kamijo's arms, and Kamijo wants his birthday to be wonderful.

Hizaki stirred as he felt fingers combing through his hair. The touch felt nice, but he didn’t want to wake up yet. He was having a good dream. He and Kamijo were on a date at their favorite restaurant, Le Ciel, and Kamijo knelt in front of his chair, holding Hizaki’s hand as he sang him a love song with his beautiful voice.

“Hizaki-hime.” Hizaki grumbled something under his breath as he heard that voice again. He clutched the dream Kamijo’s hand tighter, smiling at his beloved. He loved listening to Kamijo, whether he was speaking or singing. Kamijo had the voice of an angel, and nothing made Hizaki happier than having that beautiful voice be devoted to him.

Hizaki shifted again as the hand in his hair continued to brush through the blonde locks while the dream Kamijo rose and stroked his hair as well, still singing his song. Once Kamijo finished, he leaned in and kissed Hizaki, smiling against his lips. “Happy birthday, princess.”

“I’ll cut my hair off again unless you wake up soon,” the voice threatened as its owner trailed kisses along Hizaki’s jaw line. That was enough to wake him from his slumber, and his eyes fluttered open. The first thing he saw was Kamijo’s face smiling down at him, and he knew Kamijo was the one who’d spoken. “I knew that’d wake you up.” Kamijo snickered softly before kissing the guitarist on the lips. “Happy birthday, Hizaki-hime.”

“You’re going to cut your hair?” Hizaki asked stupidly, blinking owlishly at his lover.

“No, princess. I was just trying to wake you up.” Kamijo chuckled as he kissed him again, cupping Hizaki’s face in his hands. He poured his love into that kiss, stealing Hizaki’s breath away. Hizaki eagerly returned the kiss and drew Kamijo closer as his hands came up to tangle in Kamijo’s shoulder-length hair.

“It worked,” Hizaki replied, panting softly as he drew back to breathe.

Kamijo kissed him once more before wrapping his arms around Hizaki’s waist and pressing him close. “Talking about hair always gets your attention, love. Especially when it’s mine.” The vocalist smiled as he stroked Hizaki’s back. “Did you have a good dream, princess? You said my name in your sleep a few times.”

The guitarist nodded, snuggling up against his lover. “I did. You took me on a date to Le Ciel, and you sang to me. I didn’t want to wake up because it was a good dream.”

Kamijo pressed a tender kiss against Hizaki’s forehead. “Then I’ll make it reality.”

“I’d love that.” Hizaki smiled, happy to wake up on his beloved’s arms on his birthday. It always made his day - no matter what the occasion - special since the first thing he saw was Kamijo.

“Is there anything else you want for your birthday? Your wish is my command today, princess.”

Hizaki lovingly brushed Kamijo’s bangs out of his face. “Hm… let’s have breakfast, then we can take a bath together, and I want you to help me brush my hair after that. But really, the main thing I want is to be with you. We can watch our favorite movie, and you can make me lunch. You know how much I love your cooking.”

Kamijo nodded. “That sounds wonderful, Hizaki-hime. And you don’t have to ask me to brush your hair; you know I’ll gladly fuss over it. After lunch, do you want to hang out with Teru and Yuki?”

“Of course, it’s Yuki’s birthday too.”

“Good. I bet he’d like some company. Should we plan for dinner at Le Ciel at seven?”

Hizaki nodded eagerly. “You have to wear a suit too. You know how much I love you in one.”

Kamijo grinned. “Of course, love. I’ll wear my sexiest black suit all for you.”

“I’ll wear one too.”

“Oh, you know how much I love you in a suit.” Kamijo hugged him closer, combing his fingers through the ends of his hair. “Before we get carried away… do you want to unwrap your presents now, or later?”

“Now.” Hizaki kissed Kamijo’s cheek before leaving his grasp, sitting up and stretching hugely. He grimaced as he caught sight of himself in the mirror. His hair looked like a disaster and he tried to smooth it down, but with little success. Oh well. Kamijo always told him how cute he looked with bed head, so he’d have to deal with it. He glanced down at his lover, smiling innocently as he ran his hand down Kamijo’s chest. “I’ll wait to ‘unwrap’ you until we’ve had dinner though.”

Kamijo smirked. “I’ll look forward to that.” He got out of bed, making Hizaki squeak in surprise as the vocalist grabbed him and swept him up into his arms. He then carried the guitarist out into the living room and set him down on the couch, taking a seat next to him. The coffee table in front of it had several presents on it, along with a white cake shaped like his favorite guitar.

“That looks delicious!”

“Thank you.”

Hizaki looked surprised. “Did you make this yourself?” He didn’t know Kamijo’s many talents included cake baking.

“Sort of. Teru and Yuki helped me too since all three of us wanted to give you a wonderful cake.”

Hizaki smiled happily, but his smile faded as he thought of one person who wouldn’t be able to share his and Yuki’s birthdays with him. Jasmine had always loved the joint parties they had, and Hizaki sighed. He wished Jasmine could be here today to celebrate with him and Yuki.

“Don’t be sad, love. I miss Jasmine too, but he wouldn’t want you to be sad on your birthday. He’d want you to be happy.

“I know. It’s hard though… not having him here.”

“I know, princess. But we still have Teru and Yuki, and we have each other.”

Hizaki nodded, leaning forward to pick up a present before snuggling back against Kamijo’s side. He knew that was true, so he’d try his best to be happy and not think sad thoughts. “You’ll always have me.”

“And you know I’m yours. I have been ever since the day I first met you.” Kamijo tickled him, and Hizaki giggled softly. “Now smile. My princess can’t be sad on his birthday!”

“Okay, I will! Just stop tickling me.”

“Good.” Kamijo obeyed, wrapping his arms around Hizaki’s waist and leaning his head against the guitarist’s as he tore off the wrapping paper, eager to see what was inside. Even though the day was a little somber since he knew Jasmine couldn’t be here with him, he’d be sure to make it a happy day so he could always remember his birthdays with Kamijo and their friends.
