Going Home

write_my_dreamsAgain I am extremely sorry for the utter lack of updates from me. My work schedule is awful and I've been really busy on weekends going to concerts, in-store events, and hanging out with friends before they go back to their home country. So there hasn't been much time for me to work on writing.
I'm going home tomorrow (only a week, sadly, but that's still a week at home) and since jetlag kills me I'll probably try to just work on getting things done and posted. I have live reports to type up or write, in-store events to talk about, then various fics that I need to post.
My last day at my job is February 11th (was going to be the 12th, but the 12th is a national holiday so whoo extra day for me) and I'm leaving Japan on March 2nd. Despite how horrible so many things have been I"m still glad I was able to come back to Japan and try working here. I now realize that working here is not for me and that I shouldn't live in Japan just to be able to go to as many lives and in-store events as I want to. So I'll just be coming back as a tourist although I still would like to study abroad again here someday... not for another 3 years or so though. I really need to work on getting some debts paid off. So after that I'll be back in the US for quite a while and life will be more normal for me.

Date: 2015-01-02 05:26 am (UTC)Indeed. There's no point in living in a foreign country if there's no time to explore and enjoy, then having to deal with such an awful work environment. I brought home a LOT of my stuff so hoping that the final move won't be too difficult then.
