I don't have a huge celebration for Independence Day. I usually relax at home with my parents (my sister is included in this, but she's never around for 4th of July), sometimes have a friend over and we use sparklers the pop its where you throw them on the ground and they make a popping sound. Then we go downtown to watch the fireworks over the capital.
