A Soldier's Dream Complication

After I finished Chapter 9, I looked back at what I've outlined/written for Chapter 11 and the Epilogue and... I'm not sure if it's going to work anymore. I had this story all planned out with a clear idea of what was going to happen, and then Chapter 9 surprised me with a more affectionate Gackt and Hyde. I haven't had that happen to me before XD

I went to the gym yesterday and daydreamed about A Soldier's Dream and refined my potential idea for a different version of Chapter 11 and the Epilogue. Most of Chapter 11 has been outlined, I just need to figure out some of the details and decide whether to keep one scene or not since that effects the Epilogue too. So there are still details that need to be finalized.

Once I get Chapter 10 done and do some more thinking I'll decide which ending is going to be best: the original or a different one. Once my friend reads Chapter 9 I'll bounce ideas off of her and see what she thinks... but I'll go with what fits the story best.

But my question is, once I decide on an ending would you all like to read both versions of Chapter 11 and the Epilogue? I'd probably post as Chapter 11 A and Chapter 11 B or something like that so as not to get confused. 

And should I wait to post the fic until both versions of the ending are done and post them at once? Or post later

Agh... I hate ending multi-chapters! It's such a pain and I totally did not expect that I might have to change the ending to A Soldier's Dream. I'll have to read through everything and do some editing on what I've already written.

Blah. Let me know what you think and I'll see what I want to do.

Hmmm, well, I think if it was me, I would only post the both versions if they were really different, kinda like how movies have alternate endings! XD If the "new" ending isn't so different from the original though and fits the story better, I would just stick with that one and disregard the old one! :3 Just to make life easier! XD

Ahaha the endings are like night and day. I'll probably end up posting both... just need to decide which is the real ending

i think its better to post two version. let the readers choose which ending i prefer.
anyway, you are doing such a great job at this. the story is really interesting

I've decided I will post both endings and that the ending I post first will be the original one. The alternate will come later

I think you should post one version first (which I guess would be the original), and then after a bit, post the alternate ending~

Pretty much, usually I have the story all figured out and the characters stick to that story. Gackt just wanted to love Hyde though, haha. He'll probably surprise me again in other fics.

Yeah, I'm going to do that. I just need to refine my alternate ending and decide whether or not to keep one scene in there
