Author's Comment: For the "fans" prompt at laruku_in_words. I don't see Hyde and Tetsu as being a couple here, just good friends - but you can interpret it however you want.

“Tet-chan!” Hyde entered the dressing room and walked straight up to Tetsu. The leader was tuning his bass in preparation for tonight’s live and looked up from the instrument as he heard his name.

“What?” Tetsu set his bass back on its stand.

Hyde glanced around the room, relieved as he saw that Ken and Sakura had yet to arrive. Good. His request would have been embarrassing with an audience since Ken would have teased him ruthlessly. “I need you to do something for me.”

Tetsu looked wary. “What is it?”

“You have to bite me again.” Hyde flipped his long hair over his shoulder and pulled down the collar of his sweater to expose his skin.

Tetsu blushed. “W-What?”

“I said you have to bite me again! You saw how excited the girls were at the live last week.” Several had started squealing and pointing at him, captivated by the hickey on his neck. Hyde had thought some of the girls were going to faint when Tetsu had sauntered over and bit him right where he’d left the mark – earning squeals and delighted shrieks from the fangirls. They were so easy to please.

The bassist looked uncomfortable. “But, Hyde, I was drunk when I bit you the first time.”

“So? You don’t have to be drunk to bite someone,” Hyde pouted. “Stop being so awkward. I’m not asking you to marry me; I’m just asking you to bite me for the fans.”

Tetsu sighed. “All right, I’ll bite you again.” He draped his arm around Hyde’s waist and tugged him closer.

“Bite my collarbone this time. That’ll really make them squeal,” the singer said. He’d have to wear a lower shirt so the hickey would be visible, but the girls (and occasional fanboy) would love the extra skin.

“You really love teasing the fangirls.”

“Of course I do. It’s so easy! Now hurry up and bite me before Ken comes in and makes another sex joke about the two of us.” Hyde leaned back to give Tetsu better access to his collarbone and tugged the other man down. He really didn’t want Ken to see them.

“You’re so demanding,” Tetsu grumbled, but leaned down to bite him. Hyde let out a soft gasp as the bassist bit him hard, nipping at the same spot a few times to ensure that a hickey would be left behind. Hyde laid a hand on Tetsu’s head, fingers sliding through his soft hair.

“Who needs porn when you have this? Put that hand where I can see it, Hyde.”

The singer jumped and looked over his shoulder, blushing furiously as he saw Ken standing in the doorway and looking amused. Damn! He’d hoped this wouldn’t happen.

“It’s for the fans!” he said defensively.

Ken smirked. “What fans? I don’t see any here.”

Blushing, Tetsu straightened and stepped away from Hyde. “You saw how excited the girls were at the live last week when they saw that Hyde had a hickey. He wanted to repeat that tonight.”

“Right…” Ken whistled as he saw the mark on the singer’s collarbone. “I’d ask if I should leave the two of you alone, but we have a strict no sex before rehearsal rule.”

Hyde scowled and gave Ken the finger. “Oh shut up.”

The guitarist laughed and ruffled his hair. “So what, is this going to be the start of a new tradition?”

“I… I don’t know. Maybe.” Hyde glanced back at Tetsu, who had gone back to tuning his bass. He was fine doing it a few times for fanservice, but he didn’t want to have Tetsu bite him before every live. He grinned and pulled his collar down to expose his neck again. “Why, do you want to bite me too?”

Ken snorted. “If you were a girl I would.” He usually avoided Hyde when he attempted to do fanservice with him.

“All right, we aren’t going to talk about biting each other for the rest of the night,” Tetsu said firmly, giving each of them a dark look. “Did you see Sakura when you were coming in?”

“Yeah, he had to talk to the manager but he said he’d be here as soon as he was done.” Ken smirked and checked his watch. “I could give you a few minutes if you need some alone time with Hy – ow!” he pouted as Hyde smacked him upside the head.

“Stop being such a pervert.”

Ken laughed and ruffled Hyde’s hair again. “It’s so easy to rile you up.”

“Are the two of you finished? We have a live in three hours,” Tetsu reminded.

“Yes, Mom.”

“I’ll go see if Yacchan’s done,” Hyde said, jumping at the opportunity to escape Ken and his teasing.

“All right. We’ll start rehearsing once the two of you get back,” Tetsu said.

Hyde nodded and left the room. The venue wasn’t that large so it wouldn’t be difficult to find Sakura and their manager. He started down the hallway, looking forward to how the girls would react when they saw the hickey. Maybe he should pull his shirt down when he was by Tetsu so they could see the mark and know who was responsible… or get revenge on Ken by doing the same thing next to him and pressing close to him when he was playing guitar. Yes, that was the perfect way to get revenge on Ken for teasing him so much. Hyde couldn’t wait to see the look on the guitarist’s face when he did that.

Thank you! I had the idea for it and had to write it down. LOL Hyde had one hand in Tetsu's hair but where was the other? XD I love making Ken the perv who harasses Hyde... so fun.

I meant to comment on this when you posted it but I got lazy and am only getting around to it now.

I rarely read fanfiction these days, but this one caught my eye so I decided to give it a go. I'm glad I did! This was very charming. I love the old-school indies setting, the flirty banter, the Ken comedy, and the overall levity of the story. Totally cute and fun little piece.
