Summary: Hyde uses an old pickup line on Tetsu. Tetsu is not amused by the pun.
Author's Comment: I came up with this when I was studying for my vocabulary quiz. One of the verbs was "tetsuyasuru" (to stay up all night). Naturally I thought of Tetsu and had to write this. And wow, word count of 419. I never write anything this short.

Hyde stretched out on the bed in his white bathrobe and waited for Tetsu to come join him. Which should be any minute now. He’d waited until Hyde had finished showering and drying his hair – teasing him about hogging the bathroom - before going into the bathroom to brush his teeth and wash his face. 

Tetsu came into the bedroom a couple minutes later. “Hyde, do you-” he stopped and stared at his semi-naked lover.

Hyde propped his leg up on the bed so that the hem of the robe would slip down and reveal more of his skin. “Do I what?” he asked, giving his lover a seductive smile. He’d planned to just go to bed after his shower, but remembered that they didn’t have to go into the studio until the afternoon tomorrow and had plenty of time to sleep in. Which had given him ideas of how he could spend the night with Tetsu.

“Um.” Tetsu appeared at a loss for words as he adjusted his glasses. “I’m not sure.”

Hyde smirked. “Lost your train of thought?” He sat up and beckoned him over, patting the space next to him. 

Tetsu joined him on the bed. “Something like that.” He stroked the singer’s exposed thigh. “I thought you were going to go to bed after your shower.” The bassist had had similar plans and was already wearing his pajamas.

“I had a better idea.” Hyde grinned and pulled Tetsu down for a kiss. “Do you want to hear my idea, Tet-chan?”

“Of course I do.”

“てつやしてくれない[1]?” the singer asked. Will you stay up all night with me?

Tetsu huffed and rolled his eyes. “Hyde! That’s the worst pickup line ever.”

“No it’s not, it’s perfect! ‘Tetsuyasuru’ has your name in it,” Hyde pouted. He didn’t think it was a bad pickup line.

“I know, but it’s still awful and you’ve been using it on me for years.” Tetsu playfully pushed him back against the pillows. “You need to think of something else.”

“Why bother when this one works so well?” Hyde ran his fingers through Tetsu’s hair. “What’s your answer?”

Tetsu leaned down to kiss him. “What do you think?”

“I think you’d be stupid if you refused.” Hyde kissed him back. “And I know you aren’t stupid, Tet-chan, so of course you’ll say yes.”

Tetsu chose to respond nonverbally. He kissed him again and pulled open Hyde’s bathrobe, making it clear that his answer was yes.

I want a semi naked Hyde too. asking me to stay up all night with him. Even though the pun doesn't work on me, the picking up does. xD lol. Doesn't make sense, but still I want a semi naked Hyde. Yup.

Anyways, this was adorable! <3 Leader loves puns, so how could he say no to such a cute request? Even if Hyde used it over and over, well... I would never say no to it, even if the pun doesn't apply to me. xD Have to say, I wouldn't mind at all to come home after nasty hard classes to a bathrobed Hyde on my bed using cute punny pickup lines on me. Wouldn't mind at all.

Oh I'm sure he'd get annoyed with that one since it would get old after a while, but he definitely can't refuse. Haha wouldn't apply to me either, but I'd love to find him in a bathrobe using those lines.

And I hadn't learned of "-tekurenai" to make a request. All I knew was レストランに行きませんか？or レストランに行かないか？I guess you learn something new everyday~

I enjoyed writing something short for once, even though it was surprisingly difficult. lol I know, I started laughing when I saw it. that and 吹く (ふく) "to blow" Then my teacher called that verb for the vocabulary quiz... I was trying so hard not to bust out laughing.

There's a lot of different ways to make a request. I think ~行かない is more like "do you want to go with me" so you're just asking that person a yes/no question. But for ~てくれない (formal version is ～ていただけませんか and still formal but less casual is ～てくれませんか) that's more like requesting a favor.

Those 2 verbs together were just too much XDD I first learned 吹く through a song lyric: 冷たい風が吹き出す. I guessed fukidasu meant blows or something, but since it was talking about the wind, I didn't think about it any other way XD

Yeah, probably, and each course/class teaches different things too. Yeah, when we asked, we took the negative form of a verb and added か. So it could be any action, but was always a yes or no question. Oh, see, I hadn't seen the formal or casual form for this at all ^^' Thanks for explaining!
