On hiatus

I’m going on a writing hiatus until my semester is over… and honestly I probably won’t be posting anything until I come back from Japan. I need to reserve these last two weeks of the semester for preparing for the final exam and also getting ready for the speech on Friday that has to be memorized.

April 21 is move out day but I’m going to my cousin’s apartment to visit her/drop off my suitcase then I’m going to Tokyo to spend a week with my friend.

May is probably going to be a busy month of travelling for me but I’m still figuring out what I’m doing/what I can afford to do. I really don’t want to have to ask my parents if I can borrow money from them but it’s looking like I’m going to have to just so I can afford to do stuff without worrying about money and getting really stressed out. I already am stressed and literally had a panic attack about money when I woke up yesterday.

If I end up being a hobo and staying with my cousin for most of May (which I really don’t want to do as I want to travel and get more experiences…) I’ll have time for writing simple things but more complicated fics, such as the Art of Denial, need time. I need to write the chapter then edit then usually go back and edit again as I get better ideas.

I go home May 23 so er maybe around June I’ll be functioning well enough to start posting longer things. We’ll see… but I really need to focus on my studies right now instead of letting myself get distracted.

Oh also if anyone from the L'Arc/Hyde fandom is still friends with me on LJ... I'm pretty sure I won't be posting any more Hyde related fics. I wrote L'Arc (and Hyde) too much but I was always using silly, simple plots because I didn't think I could handle the more complicated plot of an AU fic. Then I came up with two ideas- one was impossible to write as it became a chore to do so and the other just wasn't going to work as a fanfic. I needed it to be an original idea so I could really make it work. I did try writing a L'Arc ghost story but I was bored and had to stop writing it as it was no longer enjoyable for me to write. Basically, I wrote too many simple things and by the time I was coming up with more creative plots/worlds I was using other characters because I had more fun writing them. So BUCK-TICK/MUCC/D are my 3 most active fandoms right now and I'm using them with plenty of AU and more complicated plots. It's more satisfying for me, as a writer, to challenge myself this way anyway. Writing Hyde/L'Arc has been fun but I am now so content with writing Atsushi that I'm unlikely to go back. Maybe if I get a really good idea I will, but that's unlikely.

Back to typing up this Japanese essay *sigh* I should have done this Friday or Saturday like I thought I would...

Sometime this week I'll post pictures. I went to Fushimi Inari with one of my Japanese friends today and it was absolutely beautiful.

I really need a break... I hit my semester meltdown point yesterday when I was meeting my teacher on her office hours. I lasted 5 minutes and then started crying and just couldn't stop because I was so freaked out about this stupid speech on Friday. My dad said he has extra money I can use for if I need to but I'm going to try to go without for as long as I can.

Oh gosh, it's that time of year, right?

I'm so sorry for all the stress and stuff. And I'm so sorry that I haven't replied. If you are busy, I can hold off since I do have your reply for our pirates themed thing that we are doing. :)

Since Livejournal isn't blocked here at Burger King, I'll be able to reply sooner since I walk here XD I don't check my email often but when I do, I do.

Sadly yes. Yesterday was my final so now my biggest stres is packing up my life into a suitcase, duffel bag, and a backpack. Have to mail 3 packages to myself and I bet the shipping will be horrible but I just couldn't fit everything well and I was ready to start crying over packing.

I always stress around finals week and this school year in general has been a bad one for stress. I'm done with school so not so busy anymore at least. I'll be travelling yes, but I have time to email of course and I'll be bringing my laptop with me on my travels so I can just unwind at the end of the day. So feel free to send mails and the pirate response.

Oh nice! At least something. I went into a Japanese Burger King a few weeks ago... had the worst burger craving and then I look to the left and see: Burger King!
