10 Day Live: Tsunehito Produced
May. 3rd, 2013 11:46 amI have notes for Hiroki's live on my phone but haven't transferred them to my computer because I couldn't get the internet in my hotel to work last night. So here are my notes for Tsune's live.
I'll try to get Hiroki's done tomorrow. And I have the 10th anniversary live report (finally) mostly done... I just have a little more to do and pictures to post. So if packing goes well tomorrow I'll get that posted but it might have to wait until Sunday or Monday when I'm at my Nagoya hotel.
And I've decided to just pull an all nighter, see Hide-Zou's live, then hang out at the train station and hop on the first train I can get to Nagoya. So I'll be dead tomorrow but whatever at this point I'll do anything for D <3

In honor of the yukata live I will blog in my hotel’s yukata. Although I might be dead as I can’t remember if you place it right over left or left over right… I always forget which is for dead people. Good thing I never wear yukata.
Despite buying a ticket the day of the live I was still able to get in the 4th row. I was over on Ruiza’s side and at a kind of awkward angle but I could see well. I feel like I should have tried going over to Tsunehito’s side but I was on his and Hide-Zou’s side last time and didn’t want to risk giving up my spot. The view on Ruiza’s side was quite lovely anyway so no complaints from me!
Random, crappy American-sounding music kept playing until the lights went off. Tsunehito introduced the live’s title then talked (I forgot what he said) and the curtain pulled back to reveal D already on stage and looking gorgeous in their yukatas. I feel extremely fortune that I got to see a more dressed down D. As much as I love their costumes I’d much rather see them in simple clothes because they are just so gorgeous.

Tsunehito introduced himself as being the producer of this live then asked the fans about their yukatas. He asked if some of them wear it at home (some did, which made him happy) and he thanked the fans for wearing yukatas. This part was cute as he kept fumbling with the words. (ゆかたを着てくれてありがとう) Poor Tsune was getting tongue-tied there.
And he introduced the theme of the live then was asking the other members what they thought the theme was. I couldn’t understand Hide-Zou’s theme… I know it was someone’s name so I guess their clothes reminded them of someone? I honestly can’t remember what the other answers were but they each took turns coming up with their theme. I think Asagi had a hard time coming up with one.
桜花咲きそめにけりwas the first song. Tsunehito called out the title and asked about fans next. He said fans who brought their fans (that sounds really weird) should use them and if you didn’t bring a fan you could just use your hand. After he was done everyone started playing. Asagi brought out a paper umbrella and opened it, sending sakura petals flying everywhere. He (and most of the audience) had fans so I just awkwardly waved my hand along and pretended I had a fan with me.
For the life of me I can’t recall what most of the songs in the main set were. There were a lot I just plain didn’t know… and they didn’t eve sound familiar. Obviously I need to go listen to more D songs. Working on my collection… Most of the songs played were heavier ones with lots of growling vocals. I wonder if Asagi’s throat hurts from doing that so much.
They did play鬨の声though, starting with Asagi howling for the intro. I’m getting better at following along with the hand movements for these songs and I had a nice view of Ruiza’s legs when everyone was headbanging. I did it yesterday but wasn’t in the mood today.
They also played風がめくる頁 – again with the fans. What’s most annoying is that I had a fan in my suitcase but didn’t bring it, argh! Oh well… something to add to the “must always bring to a D live” list. I was positive that風がめくる頁 would be played to go with the traditional theme and I was right. I haven’t heard this song yet live so I was really happy they played it as it’s one of my favorites.
I can’t remember much of the songs, as I said, so I’m just going to write about special moments. I remember some songs from the encores at least.
One of my favorite moments was everyone pausing to chat about the tour goods. I’d been close to Ruiza but didn’t realize he had his yukata draped so that it’d show off his right leg until he moved to show it off. He kind of posed like a hooker, lifting up his leg to show off his boots and fishnets (and some tiny leather-looking shorts). He said he was wearing Asagi produced tights, that they did smell like roses (Asagi giggling behind him the entire time) and that anyone who wears them can be sexy. Hm, not sure about that as I wore the tights and Ruiza looked far prettier in them than I ever could. But he’s just unfairly adorable. Ruiza jumped up on Asagi’s platform and kicked his leg up to show off his leg and his tights then went over to Tsunehito. I couldn’t see this part too well but he knelt down in front of him and was all “It’s for Tsunehito!” I think is what he said. I know he yelled Tsune’s name… and made him start laughing. Oh Ruiza. You’re such a silly.
Ruiza went back to his side of the stage and Tsunehito started talking again. He was patting at his chest and saying something about Hiroki’s business card case. I think he mentioned forgetting them? I can only understand bits of their MCs but I’m pretty sure that’s what he said. Hiroki was talking about his case then and Tsunehito, the troll, mentioned nude picture from yesterday (as in people encouraging Hiroki to do it. We got a shirtless photo though) and the special Hiroki tank top. He pointed at Hide-Zou for this and said it’s the one Hide-Zou would buy, which made him laugh. They’re all so funny to watch. Asagi said something next but I couldn’t understand him.
I’m kind of blanking on what happened after that but I’m guessing they went back to playing songs. Asagi brought out his whip for one (it might have been Toki no Koe) and would lick it or pretend to lick it every so often. He looked like he was going to try lassoing Ruiza with it at one point since they were so close to each other. I’m sure Ruiza wouldn’t have minded.
Later the members left the stage for Hiroki’s drum solo… I kept hoping they’d come into the crowd again like yesterday but no luck there. Probably will do it on some random day just to mess with the fans.
At some point in the main set Tsunehito asked everyone to get out the towels he produced (and thanked people for buying them). I bought one yesterday but completely forgot to bring it today… argh! So forgetful. People brought out their towels and were waving them along during the song.
I think it was after this that everyone ran off stage and a staff member pulled the curtains shut. I, and other fans, were extremely confused because there was no way the main set could be over so soon. We didn’t have to wait long though since the curtain opened again and everyone came back out. Tsunehito, Hide-Zou, and Ruiza weren’t wearing their guitars and everyone had microphones. Then Tsunehito introduced this song (I have no idea what it was, I don’t know if it was a D song or not but I’m guessing it wasn’t… no idea what it is or what it’s called. It was in English I think though) and… started singing. And then everyone was singing. They would take turns at first and were obviously enjoying their boy band routine a little too much. Then they all lined up behind each other (Tsunehito was in the front) and had a little dance going on where they would all lean over at the same angle and wave their towels or microphones. They were all grinning and obviously having a lot of fun. After this er, interesting song was over Asagi put his arm around Ruiza and said this must be like being in Johnny’s again and Ruiza was just laughing and nodding. They talked about the song a little and Asagi said it was kind of embarrassing to do this but he was laughing about it. What a cutie.
The boys got their guitars again and went back to playing proper D music.
There wasn’t much fanservice, just the usual Asagi cuddling someone. He cuddled Tsunehito a lot as this was his live… kind of wish I was over on his side to see that but they did come over to my side one time so I had a nice view of them cuddling.
Once the main set was over they all bowed, thanked everyone, and threw some picks and hifived people (Ruiza clasped my hand a couple times! And has this big, beautiful smile. He is just too cute), I got to touch Asagi’s hand and hold it briefly, Tsunehito brushed my fingers… and then they were running off. As soon as the lights went out the fans started chanting encore and clapping. We had to wait a little longer than usual, long enough for the pace of “encore” chants to change. The curtain comes up and there’s Tsunehito sitting on Asagi’s platform with a sheet of paper in his hand. There was talk show-like music playing too. Tsunehito thanked everyone for the encore then mentioned that there was a special guest coming today. I was wondering who it was then Hide-Zou in sunglasses and carrying his sunglasses case comes out and sits next to Tsunehito. I wasn’t sure if Hide-Zou was impersonating someone or being himself since his voice was a little different for his parts… I can’t remember much of what went on aside from lots of happy Tsune smiles, Hide-Zou taking off his sunglasses and whipping out his sunglasses case so the fans could see just how useful it was. Then he was talking about regular glasses and how he wanted to sell the case for more but just for fans it’s cheap. Silly. And some of Tsune’s questions would be from the other members (Ruiza from Osaka…) he’d introduce the question like that. I can’t remember the questions but Ruiza’s was funny since I remember thinking he was being a troll again.
Hide-Zou also modelled what he was wearing under his yukata since Tsune kept insisting he should. It looked like he had capris on under them. Whatever they were, they looked cozy!
After talk show Tsune was over the members came out on stage to play more songs. Bon Voyage was the first song so everyone rushed to get their flags out. We didn’t use them yesterday so I almost didn’t bring mine but I’m glad I did. I always feel awkward if I’m missing one of the main props because I can’t participate as well. Asagi had his flags and was leading the motions and saying which side would begin the wave motion.
Tsunehito would usually announce the song titles. He didn’t always do it but for Day by Day he said he didn’t need to and just looked at Asagi. Unlike yesterday Asagi had no problem with starting Day by Day. I’m glad they played this again as it’s one of my favorites.
Next was Dying Message, which Tsunehito announced. I’ve yet to hear Dying Message live so was very happy to listen to it. It’s one of the first D songs I heard/fell in love with. It really is a beautiful song.
Tsunehito later announced when there were three and then two songs left. For one he said they were going to a forest and I think he mentioned something about a triangle? I’m guessing it was something added to Hiroki’s drum kit. Asagi came out with a tambourine. When he would play it the fans were supposed to knock their fans against their hands and he would also jump sometimes, so we were supposed to jump with him. I can’t remember what this particular song was
For one of the songs Asagi came out with a gun as his prop and Ruiza was making shooting motions at the fans so we all started doing the same. Then Hide-Zou wandered over and did the same thing and was grinning. Tsunehito was playing up on Asagi’s platform for some of this and Asagi had his arm around him. At one point he pressed the gun up against the exposed part of his chest and pretended to shoot him while grinning like a dork. Tsunehito made this surprised face then was nodding his head and grinning. Sillies.
Later Tsunehito announced that they were going to the forest again and said they would be playing 春の宴
I think that was the last song for this encore and after the usual throwing picks, waving, thanking everyone, and hifiving people the left the stage
Come back for other encore and it’s Hiroki and Tsune up on stage. Hiroki had arranged his yukata so it wasn’t covering his chest anymore. Usually Hiroi’s the only one on stage for his solo but Tsunehito was grinning and saying that he was there too. Tsunehito was mostly at Hide-Zou’s side of the stage, right in front of the mic, and would have us cheer with him (yelling “oi oi oi” or something else) and trying to get us to copy the way he was saying. We failed sometimes and he’d laugh and say it’s different but eventually managed to do it right. He barely played his bass during this part since he was busy leading the fans in cheers but he was obviously having fun. And Tsune kept saying Yoroshiku onegaishimasu for Hiroki.
After they were done, the other members came back onstage and Tsunehito said this was the last song. There were disappointed “awws” (I forgot the Japanese equivalent) from the fans. Tsunehito was laughing and said “There’s a time limit you know!” And the last song was Guardian. Once it was over Tsunehito ran to all sides of the stage, bowing deeply and thanking everyone for coming out for his live. He said tomorrow was Hide-Zou’s day (I can see that live being really funny, as they’ve all been thus far)
Once the other members finished thanking the audience they came around to hifive the fans. I touched Asagi, Ruiza, and Tsune’s hands for this and kept hoping to catch one of the picks but no luck.
Once the stage cleared everyone grabbed their stuff and went to the door where we had to wait for what felt like forever to be able to leave. There was the goods line and then one of the staff came and told that people exchanging their scratch cards should go out the other door. I had gotten a B scratch card (previous tour goods. Yesterday I got chekis) and was given Tafael Anatomie postcards. I’ll scan those when I get home next week. As I was getting the post cards I saw that the charm bracelet was available in black… and I tried getting it in black twice but no luck… I was so tempted to get back in the goods line and buy it but I managed to resist as I already have the bracelet in white. I resisted the after-live chekis too. I just can’t justify spending that much money on pictures… so once I got my postcards I headed up the stairs and back to the train station
I’m very glad I was able to get the ticket for Tsune’s live as it was so fun J

Tsune was wearing a dark kimono that had purple designs on it. He had it styled to show off his right arm and chest and wore his hair mostly down. A purple bandana was wrapped around his right wrist. He was so cute and there are actually some muscles on that tiny arm!
Ruiza had a dark blue yukata with stripes. It was worn kind of open to show off one of his legs and he had Asagi's rose tights and tiny shorts on under his yukata. Ruiza had his hair kind of spiky and looked like he had it up but his hair was just wild.
Asagi was in a dark yukata (they all had dark ones on) with a flower print. It looked like a rose print. He wore his hair down and unstyled and had yellow contacts and eyeliner on like yesterday
Hiroki had a dark blue yukata... I can't remember if it was patterned or not... and his hair was in a loose ponytail similar to the style he wore for the Hiroki Powered Live.
Hide-Zou had his hair pulled back with parts of it down around his face and he had a dark kimono on that had purple patterns like Tsune's. He also had a girly styled obi which Tsune was teasing him about later
