A little update
May. 7th, 2013 11:15 amStill have live reports to write... I'm just being lazy. I guess I've basically just been talking about lives (or whining about packing) and not saying much about what's going on with me.
I'm going home on Saturday now. I got so worried about money that when my parents asked if I wanted to move my flight up I said that would be great. They really miss me so were glad to bump my flight up 12 days early. Now I leave on the 11th instead of the 23rd. So I'm going to spend my last few days getting some good experiences in.
I'm in Nagoya until tomorrow, then I take the night bus to go back to Tokyo. Out of the cities I've visited I think I like Tokyo best because I have the most good memories from thee. I have stressful memories too, anger at the crowds, but as long as I steer away from the most people dense areas it's not too bad. Nagoya... I have mixed feelings about. The first time I came here was great because I was seeing BUCK-TICK then got to go back and curl up in a nice hotel, take a long hot bath to relax my aching feet... then I went out and did a little shopping the next day before leaving early. The second time I came back I realized... there isn't much to do in Nagoya actually. It's just a regular city. And if I want to do shopping then I would just go to Tokyo because there are so many more options. This time around I already came in with negative thoughts because I wanted to be in Tokyo for D (I had booked my hotel already before knowing about D's 10 Days Lives, and didn't want to deal with cancellation fees and the stress of finding new lodging... and I had to get back and pack anyway)
But I saw Lycaon yesterday and although most of the day leading up to the concert was shitty, Lycaon made things better. I got right in 4th row so I could ogle Rito properly. Yuuki sprayed water on me at one point, it completely caught me off guard since I wasn't looking at him and then boom there's water on me. It felt nice though because I was really hot! I made a French friend at the concert too and had fun talking to her. Us and a Swedish girl formed our little foreigner corner over by Rito. Although the Swedish girl moved to Yuuki's area when she had a chance.
For today... I'm debating if I want to go out or not. I might just end up being lazy and sticking around to write. Seeing D so many times has just made them extremely active and I have a darker, vampire idea I'm working on. I have a scene from that story that the muses just demanded I write

Date: 2013-05-08 04:49 pm (UTC)Can't say I know much about Nagoya. I think the only times I ever hear about that city are in relation to live dates, Zepp Nagoya and all that. I can't blame you for preferring Tokyo. The shopping IS incredible there, and since I don't mind crowds too much, I enjoy the boisterousness and activity on the streets.
I really hope that you have a peaceful, uneventful flight back and that you sleep for most of it. :) Travel safe, dear.

Date: 2013-05-10 06:55 pm (UTC)About the only things to do in Nagoya are to see lives and go to the zoo and aquarium. Tokyo is just more fun because there's so much to do. The only shopping I've done this time in Tokyo is going to Loft (have to get my stickers and cute notepads) and Closet Child (discounted CDs/lives/clothes, whoo!) and buying things at concerts. I get irritated if it's too crowded and I'm stuck behind really slow people. But it's always fun peoplewatching.
I hope so too... I kept falling asleep so just made myself get up at 3:30 so I can be tired for a good part of the flight. Thank you!
