Fanfic hiatus

I'm taking a hiatus from writing fanfiction. Aside from my D/Atsushi vampire series… There really isn’t much fanfiction I’m interested in writing. I come up with a new idea then decide it’d be better as original work

This is obviously a sign that I need a break.

So I’ll be working on the original version of The Art of Denial and when I’m ready to come back to writing fanfiction, I will, but I’d say my “career” as a fanfic writer won’t last for much longer. Finishing the vampire series might mark the end of me writing fanfiction

Just... Don't delete them, please? I hate when great authors delete their fics... (I lose all respect for them...)

I don't delete fanfiction. I locked posts of fics that were too old/too embarrassing but that's all

And I hate when authors do that too :(

Well, in some ways that's just as bad (since it's not visible to anyone), but at least then it's not bahleeted forever and maybe gone from the computer too... At least on LJ (unlike FFN), you can lock/not allow comments... (And there's only 3 authors that I have very little respect for anymore, but you've comforted me ^_^).

I'm pretty sure no one would be interested in reading what I locked. And I cringed whenever I had to scroll past it to get to the rest of my archive so it was the best thing to do. I'll probably be locking some more old fics when I get home... The fics are on my computer and LJ still anyway

Yeah with FF.net the only way to get rid of something is to delete it. It's nice to have the lock option here. (That's good XD)

Oh I'll definitely still be writing. Writing is my escape from life and problems so it's something I need to keep doing
