New community, some updates

Happy 4th of July to fellow Americans. I plan to use this day to relax in my pajamas and work on getting the first chapter of the Art of Denial edited. I've been so tired all week because of work that by the time evening rolls around I'm falling asleep watching TV and don't have much brainpower to work on editing. Then last night I started reading Tokyo Babylon again. It's so bittersweet to read knowing what happens in the end. Oh CLAMP, how you break my heart.

As I mentioned in my last entry I've created a new community for D fanfiction. It's ultimatelovers and a few authors have already posted fics. I'm hoping more writers will come.

For my own fanfiction... I had started an Asagi x Jui in the vampire universe. I have it maybe halfway done but my fanfiction mood waned. I'll take a break from that fic until I can get Chapter 1 done and also the story that might end up being a prologue to the Art of Denial. Or just a side-story... I'm not quite sure. But it shows the band he designs for and their little bassist's experiences as a victim of the paranormal. Poor Rui is too pretty for his own good. Then I have a Kuina x Subaru that has been haunting me all month so I might have to try writing that (my first Royz fic! I've been dying to write them but could never come up with an idea) after I've gotten some more work done with the Art of Denial.

I'm also going to do some journal cleanup this weekend

That's about all I have to say for now but I'm hoping I can post something before I go back to work on Monday

Asagi and Jui? *fans self* and they're vampires!?! *flails*

Rui's always been way too pretty for his own good xD I need to get caught up on Art of Denial... started reading and then got sidetracked. A paranormal encounter? Can't wait. I love ghost stories and supernatural/paranormal adventures... who woulda though huh? lol

Oh and YES PLEASE to Kuina and Subaru!!!! The Royz boyz don't get enough love and there's so much fodder for fanfics that... oh yes definitely write those two!!!


And congrats on the new community. I need to hop over there and add it.

Any plans for you?

Why of course, I'm absolutely besotted with my vampire universe. In general, if I'm writing D it's going to be in the vampire universe. And it's vampire Asagi in his sexy police outfit he wore to Jui's birthday live

Yes, Ruiza has been, but I wasn't talking about him XD I realized that Art of Denial would work better as a novel so I stopped writing the fanfiction version. The Rui I mentioned is my OC. Probably a bad idea to pick Rui as a name since there are many Ruis in Jrock, but the name came to me right away and it just stuck! Yeah, it's a story I've been working on since I was in Japan. Rui's always been sensitive to ghosts so he has some troubles in this fic. The rough draft is done I just need to edit it and figure out where in the storyline it's going to take place. Haha oh I know, big surprise. They're fun to write

They really don't get enough love. It's sad since Royz is such a sweet, talented band. I'll write that once I have the details figured out more.

Nah, not really. Just a quiet day of relaxing and enjoying the time off :) plus recuperating from last night's Sounders match *grins* I have neighbors who own a firework stand so they'll be putting on a show tonight like they do every year and just bbq-ing. Steaks sound really really good with a nice cold beer. :)

Oh I see, wrong Rui but obviously he must still be very beautiful and very sexy *grins* So he's a sensitive then? Speaking of ghost stories are you going to go see The Conjuring when it comes out? I can't wait. It looks really good. Probably won't scare me but it looks like it has potential lol

No they don't. The only person I've come across so far who writes them is theblackmorals. I'd post the link for her page but LJ won't let me post links no matter which format I'm in now. Absolutely sucks. I had to switch from hotmail to richtext to post them before and now it doesn't work in either... LJ loves me so much obviously :/

Needy muses are good though they can be awfully demanding and frustrating. Hope you are successful my dear <3

That sounds nice. Oh you do? Fun! Mom and I just baked chocolate chip cookies and we're relaxing and watching TV. Going downtown for fireworks later.

That outfit begged for an idea. I thought of a hot police!Hide-Zou x Asagi but... ideas... Haha and then there's Jui in his own kind of slutty police outfit. I do too, out of all the fics I've written vampire universe is definitely my favorite. It keeps growing too.

Oh he is. He's a little redhead who's always showing off his body with tiny stage clothes. He is, he's been having experiences with ghosts for most of his life. LOL despite my love of writing ghost stories, I am the biggest coward you will ever find. My imagination is terrible... if I watch anything remotely creepy I can kiss my sleep goodbye. The movie looks really interesting and I'd love to see it but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't sleep if I did.


love_sanaka has written a couple Kuina x Subaru ones. She just posted one today. Ugh more problems with LJ? What a nightmare. I did read the theblackmorals' Subaru x Koudai fic. LJ's just so uncooperative :/

Oh they are. The muses are fine it's just the matter of getting the writing to cooperate.

I take it then that he's based loosely off of Ruiza lol Seriously? I bet there are a lot of 'ghost' writers out there that aren't all that brave either :) You're probably like me in that you've been reading them forever though right? I've been reading paranormal stories basically since I started reading :) Absolutely love them!

It takes a lot to really frighten me when it comes to Hollyweird's ghost movies... having grown up in a somewhat haunted house noises that go bump in the night, the feeling of being watched, disembodied footsteps, moving objects or items that disappear only to reappear in different places were all par for the course and then of course the occasional scent of perfume or flowers. First thing I did when I moved into the house I'm in now I made sure there was nothing 'extra' that came with it lol The only movies that really 'freak' me out and scare me are ones revolving around demonic possesion but that has to do with the Exorcist. I saw that when I was ten through my fingers. I've hated those types of movies ever since but then I saw all the sequels and not one bothered me... go figure right?

Oh she has? I will have to check those out then :) Thanks for letting me know. Yeah I have no freaking clue but it's frustrating as anything and I'm so tired of it. I don't know what I'm doing wrong but yeah. Can't even post the link for the next chapter on jry so had to apologize to anyone who wants to read it since they'll have to go my page instead... such a bloody hassle. It always makes me think there's something wrong with my laptop but then when I go to my Mac which can't get screwed up I know it's not because it happens there too.

theblackmorals and I talk alot about Royz and she's supposed to write a Kuina and Tomoya fic and thanks to pics of Chobi from Div with Kuina she wants me to write that pairing... it's for her I wrote Aoi and Kuina and am now starting work on a follow up but I think you already knew that :)

Ruiza actually wasn't inspiration for Rui at all. He's kind of a combination of Tsune and Rito in terms of styling. Super thin like Tsune (and he's a redhead. Lol when I saw Royz I realized how many tiny, redheaded bassists there are in Jrock. So Rui would fit in well XD) and fond of the tiny, sexy outfits like Rito. Their vocalist enjoys removing his tiny stage costumes ho ho. I guess so. I don't think I read many ghost stories actually... Luna got me into them last year and I quickly got hooked. They're fun to read and write!

Ugh, that sounds horrifying. And ironically, what happened to you is exactly what's happening to one of the characters in my novel. Her candles will blow out, she smells roses if she's taking a bath, the feeling that someone is there with her if she's alone, hearing footsteps... Oh definitely a good idea. Mom and I like watching a show called Haunted Collector and it's made me very wary of old homes and antiques. Possession movies are so eerie. Haha, that's like me watching a scary movie. Really? That's interesting.
